Why our analytics are free

On a lot of tools, the moment you want to know how many people visited your page, you hit a paywall. We think that's backwards. Stats are how you learn what's working. If you can't see them, you can't improve your page.

So every Sitemoon page gets stats for free. Visits, link taps, tap rate, where visits came from, devices and countries. No trial, no time limit. They're kept for as long as your account exists.

What you get

• Visits: how many times your page was opened.
• Link taps: how many times people tapped each link.
• Tap rate: taps divided by visits. A quick way to see if your page is doing its job.
• Sources: which app or site sent people, like Instagram, TikTok or your QR code.
• Devices and countries: where your visitors are and what they're using.

Honest numbers

Free doesn't mean rough. We count visitors with an anonymous device id, and we leave out bots and your own visits. If a person opens your page five times in a few minutes, that's one visit, not five. The numbers are smaller than some tools show, and that's the point. They're real.

A number you can't trust is worse than no number at all.

No ads, no selling

Free stats don't mean we're selling your data. We don't run ads, we don't use ad trackers and we never sell your data or your visitors' data. The stats exist for you, and only you can see them.

So how do you make money?

Pro. Pro is $8 a month and adds things like more live pages, moving styles, your own background photo, an email sign-up block and no Sitemoon mark. People pay for Pro because they want those things, not because we held their numbers hostage.

How to use them

You don't need a complicated report. Once a week:

1. Check context. Did you post more, launch something or share your QR code?
2. Look at the links. Which ones got attention?
3. Make one change. Move a link, rename it or remove an old one.
4. Check again next week.

That's it. Small changes, measured honestly, add up.
